Decades that passed gave them a certain warm patina - the look, smell & feel of the times long ago - featuring naturally browned edges, sometimes graphite pencil/fountain pen/crayon handwriting or marking, smudges, stains, some may have creases or tears. Some items have rough edges as traces of binding removal.
